Take your baby to the vet. Redundant or retained baby teeth usually crowd the mouth and can help add to the dental disease problems Yorkies are known for. If you have a loose tooth tugging on the nerve as it moves and stretches the nerve and any infected surrounding tissue, it can hurt. I know my loose teeth usually hurt when I was a child and even now if I have one. Just because you have a canine who may not show pain due to stoicism doesn't mean they don't actually have pain. These teeth could abscess right through the gum if germs get in the loosened tissue and begin to fester. The vet will likely schedule a cleaning/extraction. It's pretty routine in Yorkies. Do you brush your Yorkie's teeth regularly?
