Unless I find out the Hill's has something in it or is lacking something in it which will adversely affect his health in the long run, I'm okay with it. My Jilly was tried on every food in the book back when she almost died from severe gastroenteritis more than once in 1991 and Science Diet Sensitive Stomach kibble was the ONLY food she could tolerate without getting so ill. She stayed on that for the rest of her life, a few days over 13 years.
I hope Tibbe does well getting off I/D. Rosie didn't. I never found a food that didn't give her problem. So I started home cooking for her. I like the home cooking for my girls. So I decided to stick with it. With that said, if I had to do dog food again I would put her back on the SD.
