I just read that. I can't imagine what this poor mother is going through. I wonder though... in the news story I read, it said that the girl driving was 15 and only had a permit, and no adult was in the car. Since that's illegal in FL, can the mother be held liable in any way? I know that probably sounds like a stupid question, but my sister got in trouble for having an unlicensed driver in her car's driver's seat- even though the car was off, the keys were in the ignition.
