Question:I would like another Yorkie, is it fair to my older Yorkie ?

Answer: Search your heart the answer is already there.
Fair is not a word in dog language. They do not have a concept of what is fair. Yorkies want, what they want and only defer to family members when they are higher on the social ladder or they may cut some slack to a puppy. Older dogs often try to teach pups the house rules.
Some Yorkies are easy going and others are demanding.
Most Yorkies can adapt to new family member with a little time. It is best to introduce them on neutral territory. Like a doggy park, or some one else house. You need to be prepared for some acting out and compeitive type behavior. Just remember every thing is at least doubled, Vet bills, food cost, poo to clean up, fun and love of course.
