I leave my Tuffey with the animal hospital (our vet too) in case anything goes wrong. I know they will keep him penned up and there is no chance of him getting away. The staff loves him. He likes the "spa" cause he get lots of attention. I also use that time to get his teeth cleaned twice a year. I feel better knowing the doc is right there. I call and check on him while we are gone. It's still hard to leave him and sometime we get ourselves so worked up when I know he is being taken care of. Sigh
