You've been bitten too. I was bitten by the yorkie bug while dog sitting for my neighbhors yorkie. I fell so much in love that when my neighbhor moved I decided to get a yorkie as well.
At first I was going to get a puppy but I actually ended up getting a rescue who was 7 yrs old when I got her. It was the best decision I've ever made. 5 yrs later and she is still with me being my best friend. If you do decide to go with a puppy, please be careful as there are so many greeders out there. The folks on this site will let you know what to look out for
My little one was used for breeding and it breaks my heart whenever I think about the conditiions she came from so I don't think about anymore. It's a good thing that you are doing research first. Wish more people would before getting a pet.....maybe then we wouldn't have so many animals end up in shelters. |
