Poor baby! Maybe a mosquito or ant bit her? Both of mine are highly allergic to fleas, and Luna seems to be allergic to any insect bite. She got into some fireants a couple of weeks ago and had two bites on her belly that set her to itching her whole body. Thankfully she stopped after getting a nice soothing medicated bath at the groomer.
If it doesn't stop, it's vet time. Whatever the cause, she may need a steroid injection to stop the itch cycle. That's the only thing that stops my two from scratching.
