Neither my Rosy or Bojo's ears stand up. The only two from their litters that did not. At first I really wanted them to, and started shaving them then it dawned on me that I didn't take these home for their ears but for their personalities and how much I feel in love with them in such a short time. I stopped trying to put them up ( and with shaving they did start to go up and still do when they are intently listening) My very good friend breed them and I was to pick one...well they both came home with me and have been here ever since, floppy ears and all.
Oh their fur, Bojo has the longer silky fur but Rosys is a little more course and not as long. I didn't know there were more than one type of hair for Yorkies.
My friend said every so often (one other time hair came out like Rosys) and I saw that dog and she is still the cutest thing.
Try to get the ears up if you must but if not I am here to tell you, in the end, all that matters is all the love and devotion they give you. |
