I tried the cotton balls but it didn't work it took me two days to find one after Callie shook her head lol. I just try not to get water in them which is a little easier for me because Callie has floppy ears but I also use a ear cleaner after the bath that has a drying agent in it to make sure the water that gets deep down in there that you can't see gets dried up. My vet says every time they get wet they need there ears cleaned.
