A long time ago, I thought that I wanted to breed Yorkies. I fell in love with the breed and thought it would be a good way to make a living. HAHAHA!!! Once I did some reading about breeding (mostly here at YT) I VERY quickly changed my mind about that
I had NO CLUE what went into breeding properly, and if I was going to do something, I am the type that wants to do it exactly right. I do not have what it takes. Finances, mainly, but also I'm a bit squeamish. Not a good quality in a hands-on breeder
So any Yorkie I ever own will be neutered or spayed.
I am glad that you did your homework first. A lot of folks show up here with their little girl already pregnant and THEN wanting to be "walked through" what to do
