The breeder that I got Ashley, Kiwi, and Gracie from(not Katie's breeder) told me that I should take my little ones to Carvel after our trip to the vet. The car ride round-trip is 45 miles, and they loved the car, but they also associated something else positive with going to the vet because of the icecream. Between the three of them, they didn't have much icecream, but it doesn't have to be icecream, just anything positive to associate the vet with. All three liked the adventure of going to the vet, but none were as thrilled as Kiwi was to see the vet.
