Harley was raised to sleep in his own room, and I've been thinking about this for the last two weeks too, cause I just started letting him sleep with me. I think because he still gets put in his room when I'm cleaning, etc, and some nights he gets kicked out when he's had a really stinky poo, I think he'd handle being booted out of the room well.
So if you are eventually thinking of letting them into your bed, then just make sure they're really comfy in their own space too, that way they don't whine or interrupt while you're "busy"
