We have a Chi, Pixie and she is more timid around new people but once she gets to know you watch out...your all hers. She still shakes in strange situations but she is actually a little spitfire. She rules the roost here at home while still tending to keep "above" the others when they are wreaking havoc. Totally recommend having a Chi and a Yorkie...such a perfect combo. The breeder of Piper only breeds Yorkies and Chis so she herself loves the 2 breeds together too. I say get him...you won't regret having the two together
