Rosie will lick when she is excited. It doesn't bother me. When my dad visits she loves to try to lick his face. He picks her up tells her no and turns her around to start petting her. After a few times she got the picture. I think you need to be consistent in what you do. Even if it dont seem to work at first. Oh and I must say, how could you resist that adorable face?
