They are born silver light blue and have tan markings, if you went back to the post my friend has 2 blue pups and look at the pic I posted he is black now full grown. (no 2) If you are talking about the pup pic when he was about 16 weeks his coat was turning a dark brown almost choc color, but still loosing his coat. Havent had a pic sent to me for a while from the owners so do not know what his coat is like right now. But just looking at him you could not really tell a difference in his coat unless you felt it and really looked him over. But o boy did I notice and worry about him, is he going to be healthy will have no hair etc.... The worry is too great to have anything but the standard!!!!!!!!And then you can have stuff with that also but not as great a risk.So if I breed only what should be bred then I do not have to listen in the back of my head my mind saying if I would of could of should of.
And to buy one I would !Make sure it is neuterd to not pass on the gene but what is wrong with that? They are loving normal acting yorkies just like yours.
Some have problems some do not.
And heaven forbid... They are not an abomination ( and I am not saying that is what you meant it is just how people sound when they talk about the blue pups I am just defending again), they are misfits anything that is not the normal is a misfit white ones red ones, choc ones, blue ones , regardless of health condition.
