With him being so tiny, he could have a fracture and I doubt you would be able to palpate it. X-rays would be in order I believe. You really should get him into a vet ASAP. As the other OP said, pups don't typically cry out when they are in pain. If you notice him shaking (like he is cold) then he is in pain. Did you also check his toes/nails? Its possible one of his toes is injured and he would not put weight on the foot. Good luck and welcome.
