Hello! I know I've been absent for a few months, things have been very busy but I need some help!!

I'm at my wits end with Chaos. Riot was by no means easy to train, he has that yorkie stubbornness but Chaos is a nightmare in comparison. I feel awful saying that but it's the truth. He is extremely hyperactive and is always up in your face. We're working on manners and obedience with him but it's very slow progress.

The worst though, BY FAR, is his incessant licking!!! Everything I've read on licking deals with dogs licking their bed, carpet, blanket, mostly inanimate objects. But Chaos licks people! I promise you that if he is in reach of you, his tongue is not in his mouth. He will jump up on the back of the couch just so he can lick your face, he'll climb on my lap and fight to get at my hands just to lick them. He licks hands, feet, arms, legs, whatever he can reach. You can't pet him anywhere without him twisting around and licking your hands. And it's almost constant! All the time! I'll firmly tell him no lick and set him on the floor or away from me and he will sit there for a moment just licking the air before tries to lick me again. And not just me, everyone.

He doesn't respond to a spray bottle, which Riot hated. You can spray him until he's soaked and it doesn't phase him. The few things that do work only seem to phase him for a few seconds before he jumps back into licking (or whining, that's another behavior he can't seem to stop) I have an ultrasonic remote that emits a noise that he hates, he also hates when I thumb him on the nose or clap my hands, every time I do it I say a firm NO LICK and he puts his ears down and shrinks to the floor but after about 5-10 seconds he's back to licking again.

I will do something to correct his behavior and when he backs off, the second I say GOOD BOY! or GOOD NO LICK! he goes right back to trying to lick again.

He's almost 7 months old and he's getting neutered next week, I'm hoping that will calm him down some. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
