I always tell my parents to take their pups to the groomer and have them show them how to shave the ears, or have them done at least every month, some puppies need a bit of help for their ears to stand. erect ears is a very strong trait but not in all yorkies or silkies, some need help... taping with Blue painters tape works too, I seen some good videos on how to on you tube..
