How old is Emy? I got Zachary at 14 weeks and started bathing/shaving him pretty much from day 1. He hated getting his ears shaved and tried to bite me. At least once a week, even now, we "shave" his ears whether or not it is needed. He also hated being bathed but has gotten used to it, blow drying included. It also made it easier when we took him to the groomer.
I have discovered that shaving the whole ear works much better, all the way down to the base. I had the groomer shave 1/3 only and one ear would NOT stay up. So we shaved the whole ear and tada......up it came and it remains up.
You have to be so careful when holding them for something like this. They panic and it would be really easy to injure them without meaning to. If she is young, you could probably still get her used to it. Just do a little at a time to get her used to the sound of the shaver and having her ears handled.
Good luck!!
Louise
