What is a hotspot? My dh has the ipad2. He doesn't take it with him anywhere and he uses it for internet browsing using our wireless internet connection at home. I am not familiar with the plans associated with them, but we love the convenience the ipad offers in other ways, and it's been a great gadget for DH. It's his own little world.
