Bowser was paper trained when I got him which I am not good with...
He was a NIGHTMARE to get to go outside. He would hold it forever! I even tried taking a pee pad outside...nope!
Kennel training is the only way to go. Which is good for the dog in many ways anyway. What I did was put Bowser to bed and 6-7 hours later I would take him outside and by then he usually had to go bad enough that he couldn't hold it. However he was a bit bigger than your girl and could hold it overnight from the day I got him. So don't make them hold it TOO long, just long enough that they can't afford to be stubborn when you go outside. |
