I can't stop thinking about what a freak accident this was, and how sad the outcome is. Based on my experiences puppies can play so hard they can easily hurt themselves. My Lola has hit her head so hard on our glass coffee table and our metal stool that it brings tears to my eyes, yet she shakes it off. I don't know if you talked to your vet about this or if it even matters to you, but do you think he might have had an undiagnosed condition that made the fall worse. I hope you don't mind me asking but all of us learn so much from YT threads that I could not help but wonder since I myself have been fearful of Lola hitting her head so hard that she does damage to her skull.
