I just went through this with Mikki. She was borderline dehydrated and we too did the forced fluids. I gave pedialyte every hour too. The next day she was better. My vet told me not to worry as much about foods, the main goal was to keep her hydrated. If you are concerned about using pedialyte, you could use water. I sure hope he is better soon.
