Yes, everything was done and he was fine and healthy before surgery.
I am hearing it is very rare for this type of thing to happen but it does occur.

I will see tomorrow morning how he is doing. I want him home, I am having such a hard time coping with the fact that he is not here in his home with people who love him.

Last night he was alert just not wanting to move around a lot. I chalked it up to every animal is different after surgery and respond differently. Plus he liked water being brought to him instead of him getting up to get it.

It's going to be a long night.
