Neither actually! The story I have is....the owner died. Lady 1 took him in, but for some reason didn't keep him. Lady 2 took him in, but her dogs didn't like it. I got him from lady 2.
So, either they just guessed and never knew how old he was. Or lady 1 or lady 2 has lied to try and get him a new home.
