A lot of vets usually don't give it to small breeds...I don't have them get it. They also don't get the lyme disease shot. I had one of my dogs get it and she had a really bad reaction to it..almost lost her.,...the vet NEVER told me that they could have a reaction to this shot...had I known that...she wouldn't have gotten it...Don't go to that vet anymore
