Okay... it could be a virus... suggested running 3-4 different antivirus/spyware checks...
Updated drivers? (should install even better than XP, Vista is crap, lol)
run Chk disk for errors
SFC /scannow (System file checker utility)
and/or do a repair reinstall of the OS.
