I understand what you mean, it is hard to put into words what you want to say sometimes.
IMO to breed two yorkies to get a choc red or blue is wrong.
I do not know that much about partis. They are beautiful dogs though I do know that.
But to breed anything other than the standard I feel is wrong.
And who knows these reds and choc may have health problems maybe they are just not followed as closely as the blues,Who are known to maybe have health problems. But would be no different for someone to breed two yorkies that are know to have LP or liver shunts for you get alot of health problems with yorkies that are standard . So I guess for me I would have to say there is not much more problems with the blues than any other yorkie with health problems or disorders. And if you look at all the posts on sick and ill etcc, there are MANY that have health problems and are the standard.
I just get really defensive over our blue babies they are yorkies non the less and just as loving as all the others. People talk like they are something really bad and I feel they are no different than any other. But I was their mommie and will defend the little misfits.
Now I have heard that the all blue pups can really have alot of health problems we had 3 colors on ours white, silver or (blue) and tan so I am thinking the more color you have the better.. I have never seen an all blue pup and ours where silver or bluish when they were born white on the chest and some on the feet then the tan or brown legs.
