Romeo uses one pee pad twice. I use a tray which will take 1/2 the pad (the other 1/2 is tucked under). When he wets one side, I fold over and pull the dry 1/2 up. Then it's in the trash and a new one comes out. I go through about 10 pads a day because I do not want him stepping on a pee spot and trekking it through the house.
