No matter what anyone thinks of this member - it DOES NOT give some free pass on calling them names or making a public joke of them. I read this thread on my phone and felt so sad for this OP! I am so grateful that this forum has a moderator such as yourself.
To the OP, I agree with the others who have said it might take time if your dog came from a not so great environment, and also a vet check might help rule out all things medical that might cause this.
