Can you tell me WHEN she was bred...I am sorry, but for some reason my mind is not computing at ALL today! If you have a bill of sale on that dog, with a receipt, the breeder is "past owner"...she sold you a puppy that was for all intents and purposes, not pregnant....It is going to be a WONDERFUL thing if you also have the sonogram report SHE had done that states it is negative. Case Closed! PROBLEM: She isnt going to tell you who the sire is, so you wont be able to register the litter with AKC. (You need the name of the sire so you can contact them! THAT is who you are going to owe money or a pup to! Try to figure out HOW you are going to get the name of the sire from this lady....I guess you could tell her you will contact the AKC because she bred thedog and now wont divulge the name of the sire so you can register the litter...) Now how many days has it been since that baby was bred....you need to get an xray to determine if she is pregnant...ultrasounds are difficult to read if the person trying to read them is not proficient at it.... |
