I agree with rescues too however, I did buy all 3 of mine from a breeder. It can be very difficult and frustrating sometimes to go through shelters and rescues. A friend of mine tried to adopt a cat through a shelter. She gave her Mom as a reference, because her Mom's pets did not have their yearly vaccines yet they said no...This has NOTHING to do with the person adopting...again...can be very frustrating...they will place a child in a home easier than an animal...Don't get me wrong... I LOVE animals and feel they should only go to good homes that will love and take care of all their needs but, sometimes I think they go a little too far....as in the case with my friend.
