I got my Yoshi from "Operation Little Dog". I know that when you adopt a rescue pup, you never know what you're going to get. But Yoshi is the best little pup ever!
He was driven in a van from Indiana (where his puppy mill was closed) to Connecticut. I drove from my house in NJ to pick him up in CT. There were about 10 other dogs/puppies with him in the van ranging from 12 weeks to adults, various breeds.
Operation Little Dog is run by AdoptaLab.org. After speaking with them during my interview, I felt fully confident that they were a responsible, legitimate organization. They feed their rescued dogs Eagle Pack/Holistic Select, have an in-house vet, don't allow adoptions prior to 12 weeks, have a good interview process/contract, etc. I was charged a $450 adoption/transportation fee & Yoshi checked out fine after his 1st vet visit.
It was a wonderful experience & I would adopt from them again in a second.
