Agreed. I have been feeding Gracie a commercial frozen raw for a year now as well as some freeze dried and have not experienced a recall. I'm sure others have been doing it much longer. The process of eliminating thane pathogens that they are talking about destroying would also destroy the very enzymes and nutrients that our pets get through raw food.
I am very careful about cleaning all surfaces any raw food has come in contact with as well as always washing hands after touching raw meats. It certainly does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
It is sad that so many of the dogs that would truly benefit from a good raw diet will never be allowed to try it due to this type of thing. |
