Okay wait..... Barbie was born in 1959, her parents had a kid 40 years later??
Assuming they were 18 when Barbie was born, that would make them 58? Yikes!!

We have barbie 1959
Skipper 5 years later in 1964
Todd & Tutti (Stacy) Twins in 1965( later replaced with different twins in 1990)
Kelly (Chelsea) 30 years later in 1995
And Krissy 4 years later in 1999

Imagine the money you'd be sitting on if you had all the family and friends in the original boxes??? The discontinued family and friends are bound to be worth a lot!!

My uncle still has his barbie from 1959-1960. She had short curly brown hair then and was not as attractive as the barbies we see today.
