After 9 long months of trying to figure out when Maci needs to go to the bathroom and trying to keep her consistently on a schedule, she is finally figuring out that barking in the entryway of the house=going outside! I am so so so excited and proud. She has done it on occasion before but I feel like it is finally starting to "click." This afternoon I took her out after she woke up from a nap and she went potty but didn't act like she needed to poop. We came back inside and about 20 minutes later she started barking like crazy in the entryway. I walked right in there and asked if she needed to go out and she started jumping around. When we went out she went poop right away and I showed her just how excited I was! She probably thought I was crazy lol. Consistency is key! Anyway, just had to share my excitement with others who might appreciate it because my family will just think I'm crazy; and for those of you with young ones who are just starting the potty training task, there is hope! I knew very little about properly potty training a puppy when I got Maci, but here she is, FINALLY catching on

if we can figure it out, anyone can!
