OP, I was just saying this same thing. God orders your steps. I kept trying to go see Bijoux but my schedule wouldn't permit me to go to Alabama yet. She died this morning and I realize the reason I wasn't permitted to go bond with her is that God needed her and she wasn't mine. I never question because as we know ALL THINGS WORK OUT FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM. He knew what your new baby needed and with grace you smiled and watched your promised baby go because your faith is strong. And look what happened, a baby GOT You. Awesome.
