LOL. I have to laugh because I can see him doing what you say. I have the same trouble with Herschel. He is a rescue and I have had him for seven months now. He hates grass. He walks on the sidewalk as far away from the grass as possible. If I force him to walk on grass he keeps his feet as high as possible and runs across it. I don't know why he doesn't like the grass but he doesn't. I have found that he likes one area across the street from me at an empty lot that is dirt. I walk him there any time he alerts me and he is fine. I think maybe you should try getting some sand and making a 3x3 two by four box with the sand in it and see how your little one does.
