yes, you can get the smell out, I love the "Fresh and clean" dog shampoo with baking soda. My friend's pomeranian had a stinky problem with his skin and coat and this shampoo took care of it in two shampoos.. and PLEASE keep this doggy inside, yorkies and silkies are NOT ouside dogs..
