Yeah, what's that about? I understand people not being as obsessed (I wouldn't say I'm obsessed but I definitely would never say that Toki is just a dog...definitely like my child though and a member of the family) with their pets as I am but it puts me off when non-animal people are like that!
It really irritates me when I'm walking Toki and some of the women in my neighborhood that are walking toward us will literally shriek and holler and hop off the sidewalk. I don't expect everyone to want to kiss and love on Toki (well, yes, actually I do because she's so stinkin' sweet and cute lololol) but it is just plain rude to act like that. I don't react the same way when these women's monster children run at Toki and me with their grubby little grabby hands even though I'm annoyed with them. Lord knows how these women react when they cross paths with a bigger dog. *sigh*
