Did the vet give him a steroid shot? Uni itches a lot too, and the two times I've had to take her in, they gave her a shot and it helped right away. Then sent us home with small doses of steroid to slowly taper down the amount for the next few weeks. It's really helped her. We still don't know the source of the itch. Maybe environmental allergies, in that case, we can't get rid of the environment, so just have to make it so that it's tolerable for her.
He started itching bc of the diabetes?
