I am already using the wire crate. You make a good point about the cost of making a liner yourself versus just buying the one on Amazon. I'm glad that someone else has been happy with it so I will go ahead and get it.
I didn't realize the choking hazard was such an issue. I figured it was more of an exception than the case. From now on I will take her collar off when I close her in there. I will also buy her a break-away collar because I usually leave the crate door open for her to go in and out as she pleases. The reason I haven't been routinely taking her collar off when I put her in the crate is because she gets so fussy about it it's almost impossible. The collar always ends up in her mouth and it's frustrating. Well she's just going to have to learn! |
