I forget who but one lady here greets people at her door telling them to do the Yorkie shuffle...great way of putting it.

Adjusting to having a Yorkie takes time some accidents happen.

Heights are more dangerous, I'd say stay on your toes but its better to do the yorkie shuffle flat footed.


Now with foods be on high alert because yorkies are small and doesnt take much to harm them. Make yourself educated on toxic to dogs foods plants and injeation dangers.

Watch for allergies and become aware of specific dietary needs of your specific yorkies needs reactions etc.

I was discouraged to find out vets dont always let new owners aware of toxic for dogs plants and foods. Also watch household cleaners puddles outside etc.
