My Teddy also is an Epi dog. He had his first grand mal seizure when he was 8 months old. He takes medication every 12 hours for seizure control, but he is not seizure-free unfortunately. I use a drug that has a low toxicity compared to more conventional drugs and I'm hoping it will continue to work for Teddy. I hope your dog continues to do well, and I think talking with your vet about this is a great idea.
