What do you do about the rabies? Can you have a titer done for that? I just got the card in the mail that she is due for her other shots and I am holding off on those. |
AS far as rabies for me I have an exception letter because they both have a cogenital birth defect, one is neurological and the other has a cleft but has allergies and stomach issues so we were able to get a wavier. It is a law in California so as of now they do not accept titers in lue of rabies. I know Dr. Dodds is working on this and we hope it will pass sometime in the near future. I am not sure what the protocals are in other States. It might be a good question to ask your governing agency. But as far as all other vaccinations go I first do titers and they are all immune so I opt to not get more vaccinations. They are all healthy.
