My little guy has done this before...after having is way with his blanket!! I have seen it stuck out where it is almost touching the floor (not kidding, freaked me out) and the vet said that normally they stay inside a female for awhile, which he can't do with his blanket...

I too have seen him where it did not go all the way back in....it was like a round knob sticking out. I had to do a damp warm cloth to get some lint off and it went back in....don't recall how long it was out, but it wasn't more than half an hour.......

What can be done about this? I too would like to hear more.....
