I used to groom my first Yorkie, Starr, myself. Well except for the nails, I cut the quick once and had the vet do it from then on
She was SO GOOD! Izzy and Luna, on the other hand, not so much. But they're good for the groomer
I can't even brush Miss Luna Cotton Coat without feeling like I'm going to hurt her trying to restrain her, and it's most the legs she gives me fits with. I touch one leg, she pulls it up, touch the other, pulls it up
She's a hot mess by the time the groomer gets her, but at least it's only two weeks in between
