Chewie has been with us for a few days (Sunday morning) and we have some questions:

1. Food. He doesn't seem to very interested in it. I would expect a 13 weeks old puppy to like food, but no, for him is kind of nonexistent. I tried to play with the kibbles, that worked once, second time he didn't want to play anymore. We gave him boiled chicken was great the first time, second time so and so. We mushed his kibble and mixed it with boiled chicken, the same...great the first time. And also he doesn't eat except if I stay next to him. If I am in the same room doesn't count, he has to come and investigate what I am doing. He doesn't even like the high calorie supplement so much. The petsmart one I had to put it inside of his mouth, the petland one he licks it himself after I ask him a couple of times...
2. Treats. I am confused what treats could work for him, as I need treats if I want to train him. He doesn't like the ones I bought from petsmart and he mostly plays with cheerios instead of eating them. Last night I gave him a little piece from a raspberry and he seemed to like it, as he was asking for more but I didn't know if it was safe for him. Also I gave him a few edamame beans, which he liked, but again, I am not sure if are good for him.
3. Pad training. We are having big problems with this. Or at least I think we have. In 4 days he never went on the pad. Only once he was close, he did it on the plastic side of a pad, and then we praised him (good enough for now, the place is important even if it's not on the target). The problem is if I am putting him on the pad, he wants to leave, and if I try to keep him there he thinks we are playing and bye bye going potty.Is there a way to teach him without crating him? I would hate to do that.
4. Kisses. He only seems to want to give me kisses, not to my boyfriend, and he is a little down because of it. I mean my boyfriend is at home all day with him, he plays with him, he makes him food and so on, but Chewie seems more happy to see me than him, although I only spend a few hours in the afternoon with him.. Is this a phase because the breeder was a female? Will he grow more fond of my boyfriend too?
