Other good tips for "teething puppies" are:
A cotton rope toy, wet it and put it in the freezer to make it cold...I've doused mine with a little garlic
powder (not salt) to help the flavour
An old wash cloth, rolled into a "rope" with a knot in the middle...wet and frozen again...
Kong's filled with kibble (soaked in water until soft) and then stuffed and frozen
My schnauzer also enjoyed turnip slices when she was teething...but I would often get "pieces" left all over my kitchen floor
Best of luck...
