I give Gracie 12" bully sticks and they are as big as she is! Yes, I have given her a whole carrot just to see if she would chew on it since she liked the baby carrots so much but it was a no go. She carried it into the living room and licked it a bit but no chewing. I really don't think either size of carrot would be effective for cleaning teeth.
